This Blessing of Willing Eyes.

I’m inspired this morning through the heart of author, Kurt Vonnegut, who writes:

life is a garden,
not a road

we enter and exit
through the same gate

wandering,
where we go matters less
than what we notice.

Indeed, all of life is a garden, my darlings; with blooms predicated on the wings of compassion, and the earth nourished through the soul’s loving grace. And ours is that of passerby, with but one task – to sit in awe and silent reverence.

Our work is that of the living world…

Just as the hummingbird bows its beak to sweetened drink – so too must we partake in the nectars of this human world.

And where we go matters less, than that which captures the heart’s thoughtful view… the gentle bow of humbled trees, the beaming ‘smile’ of lilacs blush, all intended for noble purpose:

To serve as blessing to willing eyes.

In peace…
