The Endless Possibility of Knowing.

I read something this morning that really spoke to me. From poet Naomi Shihab Nye, a contemplation of those moments in between.

“I have always loved the gaps,” she writes.”the spaces between things, as much as the things. I love staring, pondering, mulling, puttering. I love the times when someone or something is late—there’s that rich possibility of noticing more, in the meantime…Poetry calls us to pause. There is so much we overlook, while the abundance around us continues to shimmer, on its own.”

This morning I pray for the blessing of noticing, of pulling closer to heart the rich complexities between perception and true being. It is this often imperceptible knowing that reduces these ‘mortared’ barriers to dust, opening us to the endlessness of possibility. What we choose, is what we become.

A steady steam rises from the ceramic mug. And in that space, an invitation to infuse its warmth through these tired old bones. In this moment, I am reminded of those who’ve joined me here – the stories of their journey, a commitment growing before the truth is ever really known.

Meanwhile, morning spreads like fire across the glowing horizon…and in its light, the source of our abundance shines on and on and on.

In peace, my sweet friends…

Namaste ❣
