Finding Our Way Back to Home.

I read an article just the other day about the absolute ‘truth’ of our being. That we are born into our ‘original face’ – that is to say, at one with our buddhanature.

We are born into this world absent the duality of thinking mind. As a newborn, life just is – the world just is. There is no expectation, nor any failings.

But, as we grow – words enter our realm of understanding: right vs. wrong, good vs. bad, love vs. hate. I’ve often wondered the basis of this test? What causes the mind to isolate that which should be joined as one?

Yet, one might argue that the oneness is always there. Just as the clouds may cover the sun, still we know the light to be always shining – though sometimes hidden from view.

As they say, three things can not be hidden – the sun, the moon, and the absolute truth.

I’ve always taken this to mean that the truth must always reveal itself. Just as the clouds may some day reveal the sun, and the pitch of night offer depth to the moon – so too, shall must our ‘truth’ be revealed. And though, at times, our thoughts may at times obscure our awareness – trust that this light is always there.

Perhaps, it’s this continuous searching and discovery which ultimately helps us find our way through?

Right back ‘home’ to our absolute truth…the very heart of our buddhanature.
