In This, Our Knowing.

There are 10,000 joys in our everyday life, and 10,000 sorrows, as well. Each day, a bold new paradox awaits our discovery. A birth, a death…a joy, a sorrow. Sometimes, beyond what can reasonably be imagined.

Even our ‘best day’, we are not without the reminder of these unrelenting waves – hush, crash, hush, crash. Our breath finally slowing to match its pace; just as the weight of assumption becomes the gift of our knowing.

At some point, we’ll have known each of these 10,000 quite well, I assure you. Our hearts will wrench with crisis and challenge. Though, in time we shall find a divine reassurance within the simplicity of its pattern. And, each of these rolling waves shall become a catalyst for our journey.

Hush, crash, hush, crash…

A blessing doesn’t always arrive wrapped in a joy. Rather, carefully chosen to assure its influence. And yet, all too often we curse our fortune; we assume so much from this space of not knowing.

As Nisargadatta writes, “The mind creates the abyss, the heart crosses it.” We search for a truth that has always been within us.

In peace, my sweet friends…

Namaste ❤️
