Is it possible to ‘cling’ to our awareness?

That is to say, can we be bound by an illusion that is constantly changing; secured by this aspect of limitation?

I’ve known a few, myself included, who have been drawn by the lure of ‘solid’ ground. And knowing each step to be precarious, at best.

Yet still, we are encouraged by the habit of our ways.

Until we, at last, realize – that nothing is ever truly under our ‘control’. At which point, everything becomes our inward.
