Honest moment alert:

I woke up in a bit of a funk this morning.

I’ve been experiencing some challenges recently, you see. And though, it’s not anything too terribly serious – it still had the impact of turning my heart upside down. And, there really wasn’t any reason for it either. Rather, it was just one of those moments of ‘bubbling up.’

We all have them, my dears – even me. And, how could we not experience the fullness of this life – without the deep stirring emotions that make life worth living?

Giggling fits of laughter can not exist without the knowing of a deeper kind of sadness. And, likewise – how might we ever appreciate the splendor of unconditional love, without first knowing the meaning of a love lost?

And friendship ~ oh, my dears, I could write for hours on just how very much all of you mean to me. Whether through the sweetness of your words, or the kindness of your thoughts – I feel your love with me throughout every moment of my day.

In all of your messages and postings; in the love that you so willingly share…

And, I am so very grateful.

So this funk, my dears? It happens. And, when it does – we must find the means to right our sites, once again.

How lucky for me that I have the gift of your light? As, on this day – it illuminates my entire world.

Thank you, my dears ~ for this year of loving-kindness, of adventure…of hope and compassion…and all those lovely little things in between.

In case you don’t yet know this – I love you in only the most beautiful sort of way.

It’s really amazing when you think of it – that the power to change rests entirely within.
