The Scent of an Old Country Road.

“We love the things we love for what they are.” ― Robert Frost
I love when I ride down an old country road, and a faint, familiar scent crosses into my path—captivating all of my senses, if only for just that moment.
“Oh, I remember this…” and just like that…I am lifted from this point in time, to a moment long since past.
How amazing it must have been, that day so long ago..that a single scent wafting briefly past, has the capacity to cause such an impact.
Memories, I suppose are just like that…and today, it was the honeysuckle that carried me back.
