We were made for these times, my loves. We were made for the stretching of heart into soul, and the bending of hope into spirit.
Oh, and we were made to stand firm – even amidst the swirling churn of unrest; the toppling of dreams, and the crushing weight of righteousness and rage.
We were meant to hold closely that ember of longing; that notion that ‘all good things will find their end.’
And, we will be made better for having endured it. We will have ascended through yet another layer, we will have risen above and tempered those ‘edges’. We will recognize that through love, we are made whole – and we ‘become’ what we are intended to be.
For love manifests, at first, uncertain – though ultimately transcends. And through it we forge the energy of faith, of hope, of courage and resilience.
And realizing, as the author J.R.R. Tolkien once observed:
“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.”
A little something to consider, my loves ~ above all, we must believe.
In peace…
