Is it stability? Is it peace? In this unavoidable push-pull struggle we lose the focus of our true happiness.

In order to lessen our pain, we must begin the painstaking task of detachment. What we perceive and what we believe are opposite ends of the same spiritual spool. One, more easily accessible and the other more deeply wound.

Though grasping for the former may yield an immediate gain, without care it is prone to entanglement. Meanwhile, the deeper thread rests knowing it shall soon find its place.

With Each New Thread.

Some spiders will draw their web inward, like a funnel. While others mount their intricate frameworks high upon the trees.

Each left to their own device will be equally ‘successful’. One, using the ‘lure’ of ingenuity; the other, that of tolerance and patience. All tied with a single silken thread, resonating the sounds of external condition. It is a beginning without an end, and comprising all they ever was and is.

As humans, our threads are cast far and wide. Every influence and interaction; every thoughts, deed, and interconnection – all woven into the intricacy of our human web.

Complex, yes – though, divine nonetheless. Underscoring the importance of every life thread.

Strand by strand, we build our peace; and, this frame of web – serving as our life’s perspective
