A Loveliness to Sell.

“Life has loveliness to sell,
All beautiful and splendid things,
Blue waves whitened on a cliff,
Soaring fire that sways and sings,
And children’s faces looking up,
Holding wonder like a cup.

Life has loveliness to sell,
Music like the curve of gold,
Scent of pine trees in the rain,
Eyes that love you, arms that hold,
And for your spirit’s still delight,
Holy thoughts that star the night.

Spend all you have for loveliness,
Buy it and never count the cost;
For one white singing hour of peace
Count many a year of strife well lost,
And for a breath of ecstasy
Give all you have been, or could be.”

My darlings, on this day one of my favorite poems by author, Sara Teasdale – entitled, “Barter.”

I love it for the imagery it yields, but more so – for the lesson it shares.

Every moment we are presented an opportunity, my loves – to recognize and embrace the beautiful, or remained lock-stepped within our ‘story.’

It is the ultimate barter – a moment of life, for a moment of bliss.

And, always ours for the choosing…

For within this space is your path to freedom ~ and with each precarious step, your eternal peace.

So, spend all you have for loveliness, my darlings – and never once count the cost.

Namaste to you, my loves ~ and, on this day a blessing of peace ❤
