This Potential of Sun.

My darlings,did you know?

You are loved for being just as you are; the genesis of imperfection, yielding to the grace of cosmic dust.

You are a shimmering light amongst the fractured shards; within which burns a wilder magic, and the delicate dance of a million stars.

And, if I may be so bold as to inquire…

Do you think the trees mark the burden of their fallen leaves? Or, do they stand majestic before marveled guest?

Rather, they join the chorus of hushed wind-whispers: “You are as you are, and that is enough.”

The ‘universe in ecstatic motion’ — through which all that ever was aspires.

So, have your fears, darling – though, make room for knowing; nothing deters the potential of ‘sun’.

In peace, my loves…

This Potential We Choose.

Today, I am inspired through the words of poet, Pablo Neruda who writes:

“Someday, somewhere – anywhere, unfailingly, you’ll find yourself, and that, and only that, can be the happiest or bitterest hour of your life.”

My darlings, in this life we are offered the blessing of knowing destiny either by choice or through chance.

Each day, she finds us — our faith forged in cobbled stones against the lure of an unyielded journey.

Just as the bud lingers to tree, knowing the potential of both blossom and fallen leaf.

So too, must we delineate these aspects of self.

For the Benefit of Sun.

“You are life without boundaries,” shares Thich Nhat Hanh. “Because you are alive, everything is possible.”

And, as I sit at the window admiring the determination of peonies, I think – “They must know the true nature of self.”

For even as their roots are mired in an often unforgiving earth, still – they rise.

They rise simply for the benefit of sun.

Sometimes, I wonder if we, ourselves, share the same awareness. That is to say, do we truly understand the capacity of one human soul?

While certainly, as humans, we are not without form. Yet, there is something greater still; an inexhaustible joy.

“Let there be no scales to weigh your unknown treasure;” writes Kahlil Gibran. “And seek not the depths of your knowledge with staff or sounding line.”

Our ‘mistake’, perhaps for lack of better term – is trying to objectify that which is truly immeasurable.

Yes, we are physical beings. And, yet – we are so much more.

We are the fullness of our interconnection. We are grace in human form.

And, as I watch their fragile leaves break through the boundaries of ‘ground’, I’m reminded;

We are both the flower and the earth.

In peace, my loves…
