Just As You Are.

My darlings, you are not a victim.

Neither are you shaped by the notions of others, rather – you are a creation unto yourself.

Do you understand what this means, my loves?

It means…

Every fleeting thought, every inference and action forms the genesis of your own internal transformation.

In other words, you are what you believe.

“Wake up and find out who you really are,” urges Alan Watts.

And, for goodness sakes, don’t let ‘it’ be defined *for* you.

Write your own story, be your own star.

But mostly…be…as…you…are.

A spiritual being comprised of whimsy, hope and love — one who wouldn’t dare to settle upon a sideline view.

Remember, “We are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory.” (Alan Watts)

So, stop living as if there are countless tomorrows. For once in your life, step up and seize this day.

Just a little something to consider, my loves ~

In peace…

Namaste ❤️

The Courage of Carpe Diem.

Author Mitch Albom once wrote that we could go our whole life collecting days, though none would outweigh the one we wish we had back.

I’m paraphrasing, poorly, I’m sure – but the sentiment is still resoundingly clear: that we must make the most of all moments, including those that might prove more difficult.

My darlings, each moment is a sharing of energy; a delicate tapestry of connection, intertwined – graciously extending our vision.

Whether something as grand as ‘hope for humanity’, or, at a much smaller scale ‘just a few extra minutes’….there is one thought pervasive to all;

That is, to live a life without regret.

To have courage to live a life true to ourselves – with the willingness to always begin again.

And, in the end to comfortably say… that we haven’t just seized the day, we’ve seized all the moments – every single one.

Namaste, my loves ~ ❤️

This Gift of Carpe Diem.

“Waking up this morning I smile
knowing there are 24 brand new hours before me.
I vow to live fully in each moment,
and look at beings with eyes of compassion.” – Thích Nhất Hạnh

This is your day, my darlings.

Twenty four brand new hours to fill with anything you please. To laugh, to love, to dream to dare; to contemplate those much deeper things, to wonder what ‘riches’ might soon be revealed.

To cherish, to hope…to care. To take on new paths as a fearless explorer.

Life is rather simple, really. Stop giving weight to that which keeps you ‘here’ – struggling to make sense, while missing the gift.

Go on long walks, my darlings – open your heart, your mind, your spirit to the subtlety of new things. Find the good in all living beings – knowing, we are united in our hope for an everlasting inner peace.

Give hope its wings – through words, through thought, through action, through deed. Find the blessing in all those much simpler things.

But above all, my darlings, remember:

Life is far too short, to live in the paling shadow of your dreams.
