A single moment
has the capacity
to both
enrich and resign.
A delicate balance,
seeking substance
between shifting
thoughts,
as solitude wraps
these once
emptied arms –
leaving a legacy
that forms the basis
of our
unmitigated truth.
We are both
what we hope
and
what we believe;
and, this moment?
Our passageway
home.
