That Which We Know.

Each of us has experienced our own measure of pain. Sometimes so great that its path is unmistakable. It seizes the heart, as it steals our breath.

While often, this pain can be more difficult to discern: creeping gradually upon us with neither apology nor warning.

Though the pattern may seem unique, it is nearly always the same: the endless cycle of triggered emotion. In these moments, we may lose our sense of the sacred within – the cadence of breath and our continuous return to home.

Like the reassuring tempo of the wave returning to shore, even as it struggles it begs to know more. Breathing in, we feel; breathing out, we know.

In peace, my sweet friends…
